OUR SANCTUARY

“Ocama,” meaning to listen in Taíno, is an invitation to tune in to yourself, to nature, and to the quiet wisdom that surfaces when we truly pause.

Tucked along the emerald coastline of Las Galeras, Samaná, Ocama Boutique Hotel is a whisper of paradise where jungle meets sea and stillness meets luxury. For ILLUMINATE, we will have the entire property to ourselves, all eight villas exclusively ours, with a dedicated concierge team caring for every detail. Think private, unobtrusive attention; thoughtful touches appearing just when you need them; a sense that the whole place is listening with you.

Spread across 35 secluded acres overlooking Rincón Bay, each villa is its own sanctuary of open spaces, natural textures, and effortless elegance. Each with private pools, breath taking balcony views, and full kitchens. Time slows. The air hums. Contemporary Caribbean design honors the land, blending refined comfort with the rhythm of the wild. It feels less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed into a private estate,  intimate, quiet, and entirely ours.

OUR ACCOMMODATIONS

All accommodations are set within Ocama’s private two- and three-bedroom villas [over 15— to 2300 sq feet each], each a sanctuary of refined comfort and natural beauty. Every villa features a private pool overlooking the bay, expansive living and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and floor-to-ceiling windows that open to sweeping ocean views.

Each bedroom offers its own private ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, and luxury finishes, along with thoughtful details and curated amenities designed to make you feel deeply cared for.

Choose between a Master King Suite or Queen Bedroom package, both offering tranquil elegance and restorative space. Whether joining with friends or traveling solo, our team will thoughtfully arrange villa groupings to ensure comfort, connection, and ease throughout your stay.

  • Availability: Only 16 rooms available

  • Flights: Round trip flight to Santo Domingo is NOT included. Exact flights will be shared upon booking that are included in the transportation package. It is a 2.5 hour drive to the Sanctuary from the airport.

  • Deposit: $500 nonrefundable deposit required to secure spot with current pricing.

  • Two part payment plan: After deposit the following payments are due -

    • Nov 25th 50% of balance due

    • Dec 25th final balance due
