KAN is the Mayan symbol of the seed. The beginning. The spark of life before it is visible.
Before anything grows, the soil must be tended.
Before the vision, the resolution, the plan or the becoming, there is a quieter place beneath it all, the place where we decide what is worth planting, what we are ready to release, and what we want to give our energy to next.
KAN is an invitation to begin the year there.
Not by rushing into who you think you should become, but by creating the space to listen to who you already are.
For five days and four nights, we gather in Holbox to work with Mayan symbolism, ritual, the elements, sound, movement, breath and intentional reflection, tending to our inner soil before planting the seeds of the year ahead.
An intimate container. A sacred pause. A different way to begin the year.

There comes a point at the beginning of every year when the noise of resolutions begins to fade and we are left with a more meaningful question:
What do I actually want to grow?
KAN was created for that question.
To step outside of your everyday environment long enough to hear yourself clearly. To look honestly at what you are carrying forward and what no longer belongs in the soil of your next season.
To reconnect with your body, your intuition and your desires before deciding what comes next.
Together, we will explore what it means to:
Tend to the parts of ourselves that need care before asking them to produce
Clear what is taking up space but no longer serving us
Reconnect to our body, intuition and inner voice
Get honest about what we truly desire
Plant new intentions from a grounded and embodied place
Create space for those intentions to take root beyond the retreat
We will work with the symbolism of KAN, the seed and with Mayan-inspired ritual and the elements of earth, water, fire and air as reminders that transformation is not something we force.
We prepare the conditions. We plant with intention. We tend with care. And we trust what is ready to grow.
YOUR SANCTUARY
Holbox is not a place you rush through.
It is a place that softens you.
An island connected to Mayan history, surrounded by water and removed from the pace of everyday life. With sand roads, open sky and the rhythm of the sea, life here moves differently.
You walk slower.

Nômade Holbox is a sanctuary within that sanctuary. Designed with intention, natural textures, open-air spaces and oceanfront views, every detail invites you back into presence.
Here, the land becomes part of the practice.
The ocean becomes part of the ritual.
And for a few days, there is nowhere else you need to be.
THE EXPERIENCE
KAN is deeply intentional, but it is also spacious.
This is not five days of rushing from one activity to another. There will be moments of depth and moments of lightness. Moments of ritual and moments of play. Moments when we gather together and moments when you are given the freedom to simply be.

This retreat does not include plant medicine. We work with the natural intelligence of the body, the grounding energy of the earth, ritual, intention and sound as medicine.
KAN is not about leaving Holbox as a different person.
It is about returning home more connected to yourself, clearer about what deserves your energy, more honest about what you desire, and more intentional about the seeds you choose to plant.
You do not have to have the entire year figured out.
You simply have to begin with good soil.

Dates: Thursday, January 28 – Monday, February 1, 2027
Duration: 5 days / 4 nights
Location: Nômade Holbox | Holbox, Mexico
Experience: Intimate, co-ed New Year retreat
Flights: Round-trip airfare to Cancún, Mexico is not included. Recommended flights and arrival windows will be shared upon booking. Ground group transportation to Holbox will be coordinated as part of the retreat transportation package. Travel from Cancún includes approximately 2.5 hours by ground transportation and ferry. [Small 20 minute charter flights available from Cancun to Holbox for additional cost]
Deposit: A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your space. Split-payment options are available for the remaining balance. Final payment details and due date will be provided upon registration.
