STILL WITH US

A gathering for the love that never leaves.

Saturday, November 14 from 1 - 4 PM
Kasa Kanekshun, Miami
Complimentary Community Gathering with 15 Intimate Spaces

The holidays have a way of making absence feel louder.

An empty space where someone once sat. A familiar recipe. A song, a scent, a tradition that suddenly feels different because someone we love is no longer here to share it.

This will be my first holiday season without my mom. And as I navigate the tenderness of that reality, I find myself thinking about how many of us enter this season carrying a quiet ache beneath the celebrations.

How often we are expected to be joyful when what we really need is permission to miss someone.

So this year, I want to make space for both.

Still With Us is a deeply personal invitation to gather in remembrance of the people we have loved and lost. Not to find closure or move past our grief, but to honor the love that continues long after someone is gone.

Together, we will share stories, meaningful bites, heartfelt conversation, and a gentle sound journey in a space where tears, laughter, and everything in between are welcome.

A Taste of Their Memory

Food has a beautiful way of keeping our people close.

I invite you to bring a small portion of a favorite holiday dish or treat that reminds you of someone you've lost. Something they loved to make, something you shared, or simply a flavor that brings you back to them.

It doesn't need to be homemade or elaborate. It's the memory behind it that matters.

Our Time Together

  • A guided grief circle to share what we are carrying, what we miss, and the memories we hold close.

  • A shared remembrance experience through favorite foods, photographs, and stories of our loved ones.

  • A personal reflection ritual to express the words we still wish to say.

  • A grounding sound journey to soften, rest, and make space for whatever arises.

There is no right way to grieve, no expectation to share, and no need to arrive feeling anything other than exactly what you feel.

A Personal Note

I'm offering this gathering as a gift to our community, from my own grieving heart to yours.

I don't have the answers to grief. I'm learning, too. But I know there's something deeply comforting about being surrounded by people who understand, who aren't afraid to speak our loved ones' names.

My hope is that we leave feeling a little less alone in our longing and a little more connected through our love.

Because the people we love are so much more than the moment we lost them.

They are the stories we tell. The traditions we continue. The love we carry forward.

They are still with us.

A Few Things to Know

Please bring: A small dish or treat connected to your loved one and a favorite photograph, if you wish.

Come comfortable: We will gather casually on rugs and cushions in our intimate sanctuary.

Reserve with intention: This is a complimentary gathering with only 15 spaces. If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible so someone else can join us.

This is a community remembrance and wellness gathering, not a grief therapy session.
